Ugh. My next door neighbor has one of these, stuck in the flower bed right up against the sidewalk. Why is this necessary?

That said, I'm glad that at least they're letting us know the dangers.

Great news Will - it looks really sweet!
Sincerely glad to see the dream is still alive.

Good on you for being so persistent, not giving up, and seeing your vision through - even if just to this point - it's quite an achievement and a testament not only to your character, but the mettle of Colin, Quinn, David, and Milo as well.

cheers,
jim

Thanks for the entry, Dawn. You are so right! And did you hear the speech by one of your state legislators? Of course I don't remember his name, but he was incredible. BTW, you look beautiful in your picture with Will in Mexico! So glad you had a great time. Hugs.

i was *so* proud of iowa when i found out. i live in massachusetts; i remember walking by the cambridge courthouse on the first day here, 5 years ago. i had just picked up a coffee at the coffee shop on the neighboring block... seeing all of the pre and post marriage happy couples in there brought tears to my eyes. we're so far behind equality, but every time a state recognizes reason i feel a little hope that we're on the right path.
