Several Maharishi Graduates Busted For Growing Pot

There are some unhappy parents around town tonight. Several former Maharishi School students have been arrested in Northern California for growing and distributing a lot of marijuana. Over 180k in cash was seized in addition to 1,000 marijuana plants.

They appear to have been busted the way most grow houses get busted: excessive power consumption. What a bummer for their parents. The anti-marijuana laws in this country are pretty harsh and these are young adults. I feel sorry for them, and wished that marijuana was decriminalized in this country; but it’s not at this time and growing that much pot is simply greedy and stupid.
